The province of Umbria in central Italy is a green and beautiful region. Similar to Tuscany, Umbria has wonderful views of green hills, towns full of charm, vineyards and wineries, and everything is less busy and touristy than neighboring Tuscany.

The capital of the province of Umbria is the city of Perugia. The city is a cultural and economic center as well as a tourist hub.

Umbria is usually called "the green lungs of Italy" because this region is green almost all year round. Among the famous products for Umbria is the famous wine from Orvieto, the oil, and the high-quality truffle. Umbria is a short driving distance from Rome, the capital, and in recent years there has been a revival and more tourists are discovering the charm of the province of Umbria, along with the easy access from Rome, Umbria is increasingly beginning to take its place on the tourist map of Italy. The prices in Umbria are still more favorable compared to more popular tourist destinations, and the value is no less good, here too you will find the medieval maritime villages, the ancient walls and fortresses, the basilicas and the magnificent works of art, palaces, lakes, wines and excellent Italian food, good hotels and everything that is good in Italy.

Among the interesting attractions in Umbria is the city of Perugia, Lake Trasimeno, the town of Assisi, the picturesque town of Gobbio, the beautiful town of Spelo and other magical and picturesque places.
